Jean-Michel Mazenc

__portrait

Biography, artist view : After my graduation as an industrial designer from the International School of Design, I worked for two years in India, close to a population of passionate craftsmen. Back from India, I've decided to update some ancient and dying craft techniques for their glowing emotion. Ancestral techniques, contemporary design, grandeur of craftmanship, unique pieces, a complete universe I create by regularly adding new pieces made in very small series.

Type of creation : Decorative items, lightings.

Tecnhics : Bidri (indian craft technique, inlayed silver wire on a base made of copper and zinc). Damaskini (moroccan technique, inlayed silver on a sheet of iron).
